Youth Programs at St. Luke's Episcopal Church

It all began with 16 children in the upstairs room of the Madam Brett House through the efforts of one Hannah Teller in 1832.  Miss Teller, with the aid of her sisters Caroline Teller and Margaret S. Teller, taught the Christian faith to these children and this was the seed for St. Luke's' Congregation.  To this day the focus of St. Luke's' parish is largely the children and on nurturing their spiritual growth within our community.  St. Luke's offers: We invite all children and teens to come and participate in these activities.  Church school begins on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. with a chapel service in the Church Hall. The children help to conduct this service. Following Church School class time, the children join their parents and the rest of the congregation for the remainder of the worship service at 10:30 a.m.
